A one bedroom 200 year old fisherman's cottage situated in Meads village, just off the seafront in Eastbourne. It is an ideal base for walkers, birdwatchers, nature lovers and sun worshipers. The cottage consists of a living room, modern kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom. There is a delightful courtyard garden. The sea is only 200 yards away and also paths onto the South Downs National Park.

The Kitchen

Hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and is well equipped with crockery, pots, pans and utensils.

Bedroom

A double bed and double built-in wardrobes. The beds have designer Egyptian cotton sheets and there is a plentiful supply of soft fluffy towels.

Bathroom

There is a spacious bathroom with bath and over shower, wash hand basin and toilet. There is a heated towel rail and quality toiletries.

Outside

Michalmas has a tiny front garden and a small courtyard to the rear. The Downs are only 200 yds away. They include the famous landmark of Beachy Head and many of the footpaths lead to attractive downland villages and beautiful scenery.

A welcome pack is provided for all our guests and includes fresh flowers, tea, coffee and milk. We aim to provide a most memorable holiday experience and have an exceedingly high level of repeat business.

The Cottage contains our Eastbourne Holiday Cottages “Out and About Box” which provides information about local attractions, walks, Ordnance Survey Maps, bus and railway timetables, with food and pub guides.

Why not order your shopping online so it arrives just after you do? That way you can start your holiday without wasting time in the supermarket. You arrival time at the cottage is from 3pm. All the major supermarkets in Eastbourne provide an internet shopping delivery service so you can choose from Asda, Sainsbury, Tesco, and Waitrose.
