Welcome to The Stables, a
luxury two-bedroom cottage converted from a former Victorian
stable. The cottage is situated in the heart
of Meads village and forms part of a stylish private development.
It is the perfect location for a luxury self-catering experience
in Sussex and will appeal to the most discerning of guests.

The
cottage was converted approximately twelve years ago but has undergone
a refurbishment in 2009 to provide luxury accommodation for a
memorable holiday. Attention to detail has been key for the Eastbourne
Holiday Cottage designers who have created and crafted a contemporary
seaside feel to the cottage, incorporating original works of art
alongside quality furniture and soft furnishings.
The cottage is within
a small exclusive development only a few hundred yards from the
shops of Meads village and within half a mile of the seafront
and the South Downs. The cottage comprises a living room with
dining area and is furnished with a large sofa, table and chairs
for four people, flat screen TV, DVD, CD player and iPod docking
station. There is a range of delightful soft furnishings and lamps.
The kitchen has a hob, oven, fridge/freezer and is well equipped
with crockery, pots, pans and utensils. There is a downstairs
toilet and wash hand basin. From the ground floor, stairs lead
down to a basement, which is used as a storage area and also houses
a washing machine and tumble dryer.
From the ground
floor, stairs also lead up to the first floor and this area is
particularly attractive with a glass atrium over the stairwell.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom
has a king sized bed and double built-in wardrobes. The beds have
designer Egyptian cotton sheets and there is a plentiful supply
of soft fluffy towels. There are duck down duvets on the beds
with a choice of pillows. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower
room with toilet and wash hand basin. Quality toiletries are provided.
The second bedroom has two single beds and also has a built-in
wardrobe. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower, toilet
and wash hand basin.
Outside to
the front of the cottage is a seating area with table, chairs
and planted tubs and pots. There is also a dedicated parking space.
A welcome
pack is provided for all our guests including fresh flowers and
a bottle of chilled wine. We aim to provide a most memorable holiday
experience and have an exceedingly high level of repeat business.
The Cottage
contains our Eastbourne Holiday Cottages “Out and About
Box” which provides information of local attractions, walks,
Ordinance Survey Maps, bus and railway timetables, with food and
pub guides.

Shopping
We are
happy to take in your shopping and put it away if you wish to
order on line prior to your arrival. We request your shopping
is delivered between 10am and 12 midday on the day of your arrival.
On line shopping is available for Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury
stores in Eastbourne.
