Terms
and Conditions applying to all bookings for Eastbourne Holiday
Cottages
(1)
CONTRACT
1(a)
By making a booking for one of our cottages, you agree that these
Booking Terms apply to that Cottage booking.
1(b)
This contract will be governed by the laws of England.
(2)
LOOKING AFTER THE COTTAGE
2(a)
Guests are legally bound to notify Eastbourne Holiday Cottages
of any breakages or damage to the property and reimburse them
for replacement, repair, or extra cleaning costs on demand.
2(b) You must take all reasonable care of the
Cottage and leave its furniture, fittings and effects in the same
clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at
the beginning.
2(c) Smoking is not permitted in any of Eastbourne
Holiday Cottages.
(3)
RESERVATIONS
3(a)
If you make your reservation at least four weeks before the rental
period begins:
(1) You must pay a reservation fee of one hundred
pounds by cheque, via paypal on our website or direct bank transfer
at the time you make the booking;
(2) You must then pay the balance of the Rental
Price to us by cheque, Paypal or direct bank transfer no later
than four weeks before the rental period begins. If we do not
receive the balance of the Rental Price by that time, we will
assume you have cancelled your booking and you will forfeit your
reservation fee.
3(b)
If you reserve the Cottage less than four weeks before the date
you are due to arrive, you must pay the Rental Price in full by
cheque, Paypal or direct bank transfer when you make the booking.
3(c) Please note that the £100 deposit
is non refundable if you cancel less than four weeks prior to
your holiday.
(4)
NUMBER OF VISITORS
You agree that the number of people
staying in the Cottage will not be more than the number stated
in your booking.
(5)
PETS
We regret
we don’t accept pets in any of our cottages.
(6)
LIABILITY
Eastbourne Holiday
Cottages, its employees and agents do not accept third party liability
in respect of breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation
or otherwise.
(7)
COMPLAINTS
If you feel
you have a reason to complain about the Cottage, you must tell
us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
(8)
ACCESS
You must
give us or our representative access to the Cottage at any reasonable
time while you are renting it to carry out essential maintenance
or if there is an emergency.
(9)
IF WE CANCEL your reservation for reasons beyond
our control, we will return the Rental Price to you in full.
(10)
STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in these Booking
Terms shall affect your statutory rights.
(11)
DATA PROTECTION
By making a booking,
you agree that we may store and use your information as required
to complete your booking and allow you to stay at the cottage.
We may from time to time use this information, solely for the
marketing of our services. If you do not wish us to do so please
advise us accordingly.
(12)
CHILDREN
Guests must accept
responsibility for the safety of their children at all times whilst
staying in Eastbourne Holiday Cottages.
