A holiday home for all generations seeking quality time together in a traditional coastal location, and the dog can go too – he even gets a welcome basket! This spacious, seafront property has direct access onto the beach and is bright, light and inviting as well as being practical. Pevensey Bay is half a mile along the beach with its shops, restaurants and bars, however, if it’s just sun, sea and essentials you need, it is all on your doorstep. This is a fabulous setting for some much-needed family time.
The few steps up to the property have a handrail and there is a spacious hallway for kicking off sandy shoes and boots. The open-plan living room encourages social time, someone can pour your wine while you cook, and you can all share the stunning ocean views. Scoop up the dishes and move outside to dine alfresco, followed by some shared stories around the fire pit with the children, or a romantic moonlit walk on the beach. No stairs to climb here, from sumptuous sofas to divine beds, you can stay in relaxed mode 24/7 and just venture back outside for breakfast. Life can be a breeze when you choose the perfect holiday home.
A mile inland is Pevensey Castle, a lovely place for a day out with dungeons to explore and beautiful grounds to meander through. There is a restaurant and even the occasional medieval joust too. If you enjoy a family walk, the famous Long Man of Wilmington, which is carved out in the rocks, has incredible views from the top. Drusilla’s Country Park hosts a haven of animals and a splash park and is popular with children - both are only 10 miles away.
