The apartment was very comfortable with all the equipment to make staying there like a home from home. The owner sent detailed information which was very helpful and we were welcomed with milk, wine and biscuits. Nice to have a Seaview and just a few steps away from the long sea front which is great for a long walk or an evening stroll.

A lovely apartment much bigger than we expected. Comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped (however we didnt do any cooking). As someone who does needlework I enjoyed sitting in the bay window sewing. Ideal for reading as well. The book shelves were well stocked. The online photos are an accurate representation of this property, a large, well furnished and equipped property. It is a private home so there are locked cupboards and rooms, the bed is not a hotel quality mattress and there are more personal decorative items and books in the property than is usual. Off-road parking on the driveway is great given Read morethe local parking restrictions. Although there were only two of us, theres plenty of room for a larger group with loads of dining space and a big kitchen and lounge plus conservatory and deck although we didnt use that much due to the cold weather. Our favourite places were the dining room and the reading nook, both with views across to the ocean. The seafront is just across the road. The station is a short walk away for rails trips up and down the coast or even into London and the main shopping streets equally close. The kitchen is huge and well equipped for cooking but not so much for baking so if youd like to bake, check whats here or bring your own. We were here for some time out so mostly just enjoyed the seafront walks and reading / doing jigsaws and cooking with a view of the ocean. Recommended Hide

A seaside appartment with sunptuous furnishings and the best equipped accomodation we have ever styaed in. Ideally located for exploring the area. It was good to be able to squeeze two cars onto the drive as parking on the streets can be difficult. Huge flat, had everything we needed. Great location and close to the sea. Place was spotlessly clean too. Off street parking was helpful and highly recommend the flat especially during the wet weather. Nice touch with the bottle of red wine and chocolate cookies, I mean who could ask for a better welcome. Many thanks

Very cosy and well equipped, everything we needed was there for our week's stay. Ideal location for walks on Bexhill-on-Sea promenade and visiting the shops/cafe's. It was very handy having the off-street parking for when you are not using the car as all the streets around Bexhill seem to be covered by meters and residents permits. We also used CheRead moream Lodge as a convenient base to visit a number of National Trust properties in the area during our stay. Hide

We had a lovely stay at Cheam Lodge, which was clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped (including with some books to entertain the little ones). Location was great, with a sea view and close proximity to the beach. Bexhill and surrounding area also had plenty of things to do with the kids, and we enjoyed some good swimming!
