Lovingly and tastefully styled apartment sleeping four, situated just a stone’s throw from Eastbourne’s main beach, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars just minutes away.

This pretty apartment is perfectly located for a traditional seaside, family holiday. You only need to take a few steps from this property to reach local shops, cafes and restaurants and, there is an abundance of fun and entertainment within walking distance for the children. Eastbourne’s wide shingle beach is just across the parade and offers beach hut rental on a daily or weekly basis - great for storing your beach toys and using as a cosy retreat.

 

Lovely and bright, this extremely well-equipped apartment has a touch of retro in the contemporary decor, which will bring out the holiday mood in you. Entered via a short flight of steps, the open-plan living area has a dining table for four in the bay window and two large comfy sofas to sink into after a day of sun and sea salt. The kitchen area is superb and may persuade you to eat in a few times! The master bedroom is very tasteful with lots of natural light from dual-aspect windows. If you decide to take the children, they will love the twin bedroom with wallpaper and added touches that are fresh and fun-loving. You also have a furnished courtyard where you can dine outside or relax with your favourite drink and a good book.

 

Eastbourne’s vibrant shopping centre is around a 10-minute walk away, or perhaps a theatre visit or the Towner Art Gallery is calling you for a little culture. On the beach, you will find the Lifeboat Museum and the historic Wish Tower and further along, the Victorian Pier hosts eateries, bars and music venues. Pevensey Bay with a castle and stunning beach is just 5 miles along the coast but if you want to visit, be quick, it is only just above sea level.

Bay Tree apartment is very bright, spacious, comfortable and overall it is well equipped. It is in a great location close to the sea, nice walks and some lovely local restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again next year.

A surprisingly spacious apartment very close to seafront and promenade. Feared parking may have been a problem, but apart from Saturday when we arrived always a space nearby and permits supplied for each day of our stay. Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
