The house is in a great spot, 10 mins walk to the beach, once at the seafront theres a lovely walk whether you turn left or right, we had a dog so it was perfect. On the way back there is a fab cafe called the perch who do great breakfasts, coffees etc. Theres plenty of parking outside the house or down a side road and theres a co op at the end of Read morethe road for for any essentials. I would agree with a previous comment that the beds are uncomfortable every time you move they make a noise. Hide

We had a lovely stay at Beach Hut. 5 mins walk to the beach and Princes Park. Very close to convenience stores. Lots of free parking on the street. Very clean and cosy. Nice decor, lots of storage. 15 min walk to town centre and the pier. Nice places to eat and takeaways near by too. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second time of staying. Lovely and clean, plenty towels and hot water. Nice area to sit in the back yard in the afternoon. The beds are uncomfortable which did spoil it for us as not one full nights sleep for any of us!! Hopefully this will prompt a improvement for you.

The house was easy to find, very spacious with free parking on the road. Local shops were a couple of minutes walk with a selection of takeaways close by. The beach was about 5 mins walk. Town centre & pier was about 30mins walk. The house was really nice, could have been cleaner though. Large patio area which was nice to sit at night, but a bit inRead more need of weeding/TLC! There were no board games as stated. Overall a pleasant house, nice area, good for exploring this part of Sussex. Hide

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
