There is a restaurant and even the occasional medieval joust too. Just 3.5 miles from your apartment is Eastbourne town centre with a vibrant shopping scene, a theatre and the Towner Art Gallery.

The apartment has a good view of the sea and looks across the bay to Hastings.

Spacious, modern, comfortable apartment in fantastic setting with open views over sea shore. On arrival found the apartment clean and ready for occupation. Within a safe gated community setting and hsving its own garage.

A lovely apartment with excellent location and great views. Very well equipped and very comfortably furnished. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. We had a great holiday.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
