Lovely visit thank you. Very helpful hosts. Its a private location despite being in the grounds of the owners. Very comfortable accommodation. Its close to two lovely pubs but you need to book as it gets busy. There are lots of great beaches and things to do.

A lovely place and very quiet and tranquil considering how near we were to the main road. A well equipped property, very clean, well maintained and comfy. We enjoyed coming back home after a day visiting castles and beaches. The lounge window offered us a view of blackbirds, thrushes, robins, rabbits and a fox better than any tv programme. The AngeRead morel pub a few hundred yards away offered great pub grub and we ate there several times. We would recommend this property. Hide

We had a wonderful week here. The cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The garden areas in the front and the back of the cottage are lovely and great for bird watching. We visited parks and gardens in the area and made the short drive to the Gower coast. It was a great location for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

A very comfortable cottage (excellent bed; excellent bathroom) for two people with a lovely suntrap patio outside. The TV reception is a bit temperamental due to the remote area and tall trees, but the vifi is excellent. Two pubs with food nearby - we preferred the Prince of Wales for more buzz and friendlier service. The Kenfig nature reserve acroRead moress the road is lovely. The beach is stony. There is some road noise. Loads of footpaths and walks around. Hide

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
