Lovely little annexe in a good location of the town, ten minute walk to mist amenities and a short bus ride to the other towns of Torbay. The annexe is very well equipped, lovely and warm and cosy and has a very comfy bed. The host Andrew was wonderful too. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean little place, private parking space outside the property which made things so much easier. Well equipped and in a great location. Has everything you need for a comfortable holiday base. A couple of extra "tweaks" , (better TV Ariel and a king size bed ) and we wouldn't have wanted to leave.

A lovely, clean, self contained accommodation for a weeks break for two of us and our dog. We liked that there was a gated outside area too. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits were left for us on our arrival. The kitchen was well equipped for the evenings we decided to cook. The lounge was comfy and cosy. The bed was comfy too, the wardrobe was Read morespacious with spare hangers. Close to Oddicombe and Babbacombe beaches. A few shops, bars and restaurants 10 mins walk. Hide

cottage advertised as having on-street parking for one car but other people also park there and we were unable to park there 3 days out of the seven and parking is really limited . the shower was very inconsistent, . there is quite a steep step between the kitchen and lounge, no warning was given about this.

Compact property but perfectly ok for two people. We found it very easy to park on the white line outside as instructed, but access to one end of the road could be tricky towards the end of the day, when vehicles are parked on both sides of the road. The property was very clean and quite comfortable, but not being able to dry my hair anywhere near Read morea mirror in the bedroom, due to a lack of sockets was annoying! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and overall we werent disappointed. Hide

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
