The house is bright and comfortable, it's location (in regard to beach and town) is excellent - the photos don't quite do it justice. The setting of water and heating greatly appreciated and just right for the time off year. Contact with those looking was after the property were efficient and extremely helpful. The property is huge!! All the rooms are spacious and well equipped with plenty of storage space and extra touches such as a portable bbq, large windbreak and toys for younger children. Our granddaughter loved the wooden train set. The park a 5 minute walk away is well maintained with play equipment for all ages. It was lovely to wake up and look aRead moret the sea and watch the world go by, I wouldn't hesitate recommending Fish- tales to our friends and family. Hide

The blurb doesn't tell you how child friendly Fish Tales really is. They provide games, books and stair gates as well as useful picnic and beach items. We thought the pictures showing the beach views had been touched up but they're actually accurate, sunset is amazing in summer.

Lovely spacious property perfect for our extended family. The grandchildren loved having the beach on our doorstep as well as the playground around the corner. We appreciated the welcome pack of groceries and the fully equipped kitchen - great for family meals. One of the best holiday homes ever!

This was a perfect choice for a family of 5 across 3 generations - plenty of 'personal space' and the communal areas were generous. The views across to the beach and sea were breathtaking and being able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves was magical. Easy walk into the town and to the pavilion. Parking was ultra easy too!

Warm and comfortable accommodation right on the seafront so perfect for enjoying walks on the promenade or on the beach. Amazing sea views. Easy to walk into Bexhill for restaurants, food etc. Close to the de la Warr Pavilion. Easy free parking right outside the property though probably tricky to find a space in high season.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
