Fish-tales is clean, comfortable and a wonderful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was a perfect place for 4 generations to come together. The house is spacious, well equipped and warm, within walking distance to most shops and a short drive to nearby towns.

Lovely cosy home right on the beach front. Lots of southern light. Well appointed kitchen. 3 bathrooms. Bedrooms well apportioned but mattresses a bit tired and lumpy. Plenty of eat in space and double doors into lounge room. Views from top bedroom awesome. Location 10/10.

A lovely house with a fantastic view, lovely promenade, great location in walking distance to everything, we loved BexHill on Sea, it was our first visit and we will be back. I was worried about parking for the week, didn't need to be as lots of spaces, we parked opposite the house and it only costed 2pound a day.

Superb location overlooking the sea. Shame no free parking outside the house, but we were able to find free parking nearby in the end.

The pictures dont do the place justice- its very very spacious. More of a house than an apartment. We had a great time, location perfect. Loads of lovely touches. Great for our children and my parents both. We hope to return.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
