The property was perfect for us. The stairs could be a bit of a problem for famiies with young children and the property is not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The house has plenty of bathrooms and loos for 6 adults. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is beautifully warm. It is also in a great location.

Apart from a few minor problems, we were very satisfied with the property and found it comfortable and relaxing to be there. Near to shops, restaurants and railway station. Only a short walk to the beach. We liked Eastbourne very much.

The house is beautifully furnished and well equipped. It is very easily reached by public transport, with shops, beach, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. We had a car and always found a parking space next to the property. Eastbourne has a dry, sunny climate so the outside area was good for sitting and eating out.

The cottage is in a central location, with the train station, sea-front and many shops and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walking distance. The open-plan kitchen/ living room is nice and bedrooms all a decent size. Very small outside space if that is important, and parking can be difficult with the permit system, but nearby streets also availablRead moree under the Permit number. Hide

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
