Attractive three-storey property situated in the Little Chelsea area of Eastbourne, an area known for its independent shops, wide-range of restaurants, and choice of bars.

This property is located close to Eastbourne town centre, just half a mile from the town’s wide shingle beach, in the Little Chelsea area. The area is vibrant, somewhat quirky area which has dozens of interesting independent shops, as well as a wide selection of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. To the west of the town, the South Downs National Park boasts some of the south coast’s most beautiful countryside and offers amazing views from Beachy Head which lies a rewarding two-mile cliff-top walk from the edge of town, or alternatively can be reached by bus.

On arrival at this cottage, guests first come to a small hallway which leads onto the spacious and stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This attractive room has two cosy sofas in the centre of the room, perfectly positioned for guests to enjoy a film on the TV after a long day of sightseeing. A dining table sits in front of the windows which run along one side of the room, whilst the kitchen area runs along the back of the room and offers an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There is also a cloakroom with WC on the ground floor which guests pass on their way to the stairs that lead to the first-floor accommodation. Here, guests will find the master bedroom suite, a lovely light room with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room which has a shower cubicle and WC. An additional shower room with shower and WC can also be found on the first floor. A second flight of stairs leads to the top floor where there are two delightful bedrooms: a double and a twin room. The double room benefits from an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC, whilst the main bathroom is also on this floor, offering a shower over bath and WC. Guests should be aware that the stairs in the cottage are somewhat steep in places.

Outside, there is a modestly-sized but pleasant courtyard garden with a table and chairs which make it easy to relax over al fresco drinks. There is restricted roadside parking outside the house, for which permits are provided.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Hailsham). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
