Attractive single-level property, with spacious open-plan living area, is close to the east coast Norfolk village of Happisburgh.

As the property’s name suggests, the iconic Happisburgh Lighthouse can be seen from this spacious, holiday home. The large, open-plan sitting, and dining area has views over the fields to the lighthouse so unwind in front of the woodburner stove ensures the house is cosy after long walks in the cooler months.

Situated in an attractive and unspoilt part of rural Norfolk, visitors can also enjoy easy access to the sea and beautiful, dog friendly beaches. As well as the coast and the countryside, Lighthouse View is also within easy reach of Wroxham which is the hub of the Norfolk Broads (12 miles), making it a superb accommodation choice from which to explore the best of Norfolk. For a traditional seaside English seaside resort head to Cromer for a pier stroll, good fish & chips, and evening entertainment.

Enter the property through a long and wide hall with space to hang coats and remove shoes. You’ll also find the lodge’s washing machine here. The hallway turns into the open lounge/diner with its comfortable couches and TV on which to curl up and catch-up with your favourite shows. There is also a wood burner to gather warmth from when the nights draw in.  There is also a dining table with seating for four guests with views across the open fields to Happisburgh Lighthouse.  The kitchen comes complete with an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, and a microwave. Adjacent to the lounge/diner is the bedroom which features a double bed.  There is a second bedroom with a single bed, offering an alternative sleeping arrangement. The bathroom comprises a shower and WC.

The property has its own enclosed garden with seating to enjoy a glass of wine or read a book and let the dog roam free. The property also benefits from a private gardens. There is also parking for 2 cars.

Great place to stay.shame the pub wasn't closer but there you go. Views to sit at all day with a variety of wild life.

Second time we've stayed at Light house view Lodge. It's a peaceful place to stay, very comfortable and most importantly easy with our dog. What a find this lodge was, pretty much perfect. Lovely quiet location, property very clean , plenty of space. I loved the garden with all country flowers. Easy access to all locations. Tony and Ros lovely friendly hosts. All the goodies much appreciated. Would return in a heartbeat

Lovely and clean. Ten minutes walk to the beach via footpaths. Great welcome pack with wine, biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and a pack of dog treats. Wonderful view of the lighthouse over the crops. Would recommend going the Horsey Gap to see the seals in the water. About half an hour from Cromer and Sheringham is worth a visit.

Warm welcome from owner. Lodge a little tired both inside and out, could do with a spruce up. Communal garden a small fenced off area and although shows advertised as able to take dog onto paddocks, its worth noting that caravans can park on the field adjacent to the property which rendered them unusable for us as pet not keen on strangers. The lodge is really nice, comfy, well presented with good view of the lighthouse. There are 2 gardens. None of it is private and dog friendly and secure. The garden with the garden furniture ,u literally sit there and look into peoples face in their caravan. This garden should be really gated off so guests can sit and enjoy their stay. A comfortable cottage, very clean and well equipped, the fire was lovely in the evening. The surroundings are peaceful yet relatively easy walking distance into Happisburgh for the beach and local pub. The enclosed courtyard garden was very sheltered and lovely for an evening drink. So clean and comfortable , a real home away from home. Our hosts welcomed with wine, milk biscuits and dog treats- very thoughtful! Quiet, peaceful, lovely views and a perfect oasis to return to after a bracing beach walk. Our dogs loved it, we just wish we couldve stayed longer!

Had the most wonderful relaxing stay in this perfect cottage. Amazing location - short walk to the beach and pub! Big supermarket 10 minutes away. Everything provided, and more; bottle of wine, biscuits, milk and even a packet of treats for the pooch! We will definitely return.

Would highly recommended this property if you want a peaceful holiday and you like walking. The property is very comfortable you feel as if it home from home. Its lovely and spacious has everything you could possibly want. We loved it so much that we have already booked again for the same week next year.

This home has all you need was very clean and fully equipped, was lovely and quite very relaxing, if you like walking it's ideal the only downfall I suppose if I have to say a negative is only little shop that opens odd times no papers and the pub only open odd times the food wasn't great but wasn't bad both about 15 mins away .

The photos of this property do not do it justice. The enclosed garden is beautiful ( we were here late August), the property is very spacious and views amazing. So much to do nearby - we saw a whole beach of seals one evening. Can't tell all, have to leave a couple of surprises for future guests!

We are just back from a lovely stay at Lighthouse View lodge and we cannot fault it! The property was immaculately clean and had every amenity you could need. Wine, milk and biscuits on arrival was a lovely touch. Our dog loved it too. We will definitely return.

Probably the loveliest holiday home we have stayed in, we absolutely loved it and wish we could live in it! Beautiful location for exploring the coast. Norfolk had just gone into tier 4 as we got there but it didnt spoil our stay. You can book this one with no worries whatsoever.

2nd time staying at the lodge which again was maintained to a high standard. The weather was very wet so we stayed in more than we would have normally as its lovely & cosy. The Lighthouse pub down the road at Walcott does really good meals & Horsey windpump is worth a visit.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
