This charming cottage is located in the heart of the Little Chelsea area of Eastbourne and is ideally suited for couples and families looking for a seaside break. Located on a quiet street which is within 1 mile of the railway station and town centre, with its wide array of shops, pubs, and restaurants. Keen walkers can enjoy local walks across the surrounding area which has some of the country’s most iconic scenery, including Beachy Head and the South Downs National Park. The local beach (500 metres) offers a gentle shelving shingle beach which is perfect for keen swimmers and water sports enthusiasts, as well as attractions including the interesting Lifeboat Museum, the town’s bandstand which offers a busy programme of concerts, and the newly restored Victorian pier offering a range of venues including a tearoom, and fish and chip restaurant.

Enter the property into a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is a sociable space to gather the family together. Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
