This charming terraced cottage is located in the heart of Eastbourne Old Town and is ideally suited for outdoor enthusiasts with close by South Downs National Park.

This pretty two-bedroom cottage with an enclosed garden is located in a charming corner of Eastbourne Old Town. It offers easy access to a range of shops and pubs, and is within 2 miles of the big skies and picturesque landscape of the South Downs National Park. The beach, pier and promenade of Eastbourne are just 1.5 miles away and are easily reached by bus, making this the perfect place to enjoy this attractive, elegant Victorian town and its surrounding area.

 

This stylish dog-friendly period cottage has a small hallway that takes you to the cosy lounge, ideal for relaxing in after a day enjoying the fresh air of Eastbourne or the South Downs National Park. The lounge leads to the kitchen/diner which is a lovely place to enjoy a meal overlooking the pretty walled garden, and the two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor are accessed via a cottage-style staircase. Outside is a lovely enclosed garden with a BBQ, garden table and chairs on a patio as well as sun loungers – a delightful spot to enjoy al fresco dining and relaxing. Roadside parking is at the front of the cottage and is subject to availability.

 

This property is in a delightful part of Eastbourne Old Town, within 200 metres of a range of independent shops and charming pubs. It’s also within 200 metres of bus stops for services to Beachy Head and Brighton, as well as Eastbourne Pier and beach which are 1.5 miles away. Within 1 mile of the property are footpaths and cycle trails taking you through the sweeping chalk coastal landscapes and ancient woodlands of the South Downs National Park. In the other direction is the Victorian grandeur of Eastbourne, including the three-tier promenade, the lively pier, the Towner Art Gallery and the Lifeboat Museum, as well as the shingle beach itself. A super comfy little cottage with lovely kitchen that opens onto sunny dog-friendly garden. Easy parking and handy shops and takeaways nearby. Bus stop into Eastbourne at end of road. Two parks nearby for dogwalks. Our third happy visit.

We had a wonderful times at Little Olives! This lovely house was very clean and nicely presented, very well equipped and in a great location. The road was very quiet and parking was not a problem. The garden was lovely and very secure for the dog. Nearby is Waitrose, the Lamb Inn and the Rainbow plus great parks to walk in. Everywhere very dog frieRead morendly and a great base for days out. Lovely cottage to stay in the Old Town Eastbourne. Fantastic garden for the dog. Its just a short walk to either Albert Parade for local butcher, baker, grocer etc or Waitrose. Its a pleasant 20 minute walk into the main shopping precinct in Eastbourne or 5 minute drive to the beach with a wonderful promenade. Thank you David for a lovely week in your sparkling clean and comfy cottage. It felt like a home from home. The sitting room was very comfy and we all enjoyed cooking and admiring the lovely garden from the well equipped kitchen. Some days we just relaxed in the sunshine on the loungers. Very friendly street and enjoyed walking to the local parade Read moreto buy fresh veg and meat, artisan bread, have a coffee and visit the pet shop where our dog was spoilt! This house is situated close to the old town on a quiet street. It is very well equipped and maintained. Garden is secure and secluded. The fox entertained us each morning. 10 minute walk to Waitrose and the Rainbow, nice pub with good food and plenty of outside space. No problem parking on the street.

This is our second time at this cosy, snug cottage. Well fitted kitchen which leads to lovely sunny garden, ideal for our dog. Easy to park and handy for the bus into town. Only thing we missed was the bbq which is no longer there but otherwise a wonderful stay. We can't wait to return to Little Olives.

lovely location and garden Very quite road plenty of parking Beds and sofas have seen alot of wear need an update. Kitchen is the biggest room in the house.

Enjoyed our stay at Little Olives. The cottage has pretty much everything you need for a family holiday including lots of kitchen equipment, dishwasher and washing machine. We enjoyed the garden when we could and liked that there were local shops and a park with a playground in walking distance.

Lovely property, had everything we needed. Owners contacted us to discuss Covid 19 cleaning and about scaffolding being taken down from neighbouring property prior to holiday which was much appreciated.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
