Guests can enjoy a day at the De La Warr Pavilion (under 2 miles) soaking up the local culture with the latest events and contemporary art exhibitions or take a stroll to the local shops, pubs and eateries. For keen walkers and cyclists, there are many routes along the coast or you can venture into the countryside and the nearby High Weald (under 20 miles), an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For some more fantastic views along the coast, head to nearby Hastings (under 4 miles) and take a trip up the East Hill funicular (under 5 miles), England’s steepest cliff railway or head west to the elegant seaside town of Eastbourne (13.5 miles).

The property is accessed via 16 wide shallow steps. You enter the property into the welcoming hallway and head through into the light and airy lounge. Enjoy relaxing on one of the two comfortable sofas, watching your favourite programmes on the TV and DVD player. Heading through to the kitchen/diner, the dining area has comfortable seating for everyone to kick back in and wait for those delicious family meals that are being whipped up in the kitchen. Said kitchen is equipped with everything you need to feed the troops with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Heading back into the hallway you will find two bedrooms: a king-size with a Smart TV and a twin bedroom. Leading off from the kitchen is a delightful conservatory with two rattan chairs which are the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee in the sunshine with the pooch. Also housed here is a handy washing machine and tumble dryer. The property is completed with a wet room comprising a shower and WC.

Outside, is a large enclosed garden to enjoy, with a table and chairs, lawn area and also a children's Wendy house, complete with toys - great for summer entertaining. Private parking is available for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
