This is a quirky, well equiped seaside cottage situated in the beautiful old town of Hastings. Everything was there and we loved the seaside viewings from the lounge and bedroom window. For people having difficulties with stairs it is not recommendable for the propety has 3 frequently used levels and 1 basement.

A fantastic cottage in a great location. The cottage was perfect for us and having a log burner in January was appreciated by us nearly as much as it was by our dog. It may look a bit tired on the outside but was perfect on the inside. Clean, tidy and had everything you could want. I would highly recommend it

The cottage was great both in location and comfort. The owners have thought about all the little details even down to having mats, treats and bowls for the dog. Everything was in good condition and clean. It was warm and as comfortable as being at home.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
