We use holiday accommodation every 8/10 weeks in the uk. The cleanliness was up there with the best, it was also well equipped and furnishings were modern and to a high standard. It was quiet and private. We were able to take our dog and made use of the enclosed garden attached to our accommodation. The only thing that was a problem for us was the Read morebed. It was uncomfortable and creaked with the slightest movement. Neither of us slept. WiFi was excellent. Hide

We loved our week as the cottage was a perfect base for canal walks and visits to Usk, Raglan Castle and Blaenavon. We were lucky to have perfect weather with only one night of overnight rain. The nearest pub was only 5 minutes walk away. The food was good value, with meat being sourced locally and great local beer, Butty Bach

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
