This place has the most stunning view! Very tranquil and ideal if you are looking for a perfect chill out. The location is remote so needed to use the car daily but that wasn't a problem at all. Great barn conversion, very comfortable with plenty of space inside and outside. The location was great, very quiet, yet handy for lots of locations along the coast. Had a great meal at the Hare& Hounds, with the dogs being made most welcome.

Amazing views at this property. I have enjoyed having breakfast with that amazing view. Perfect property if visiting with dogs. The forest walk right behind the property to shade off from hot days for dog walk. Property is a bit dated but you can see that from photos. Beds are very comfortable and sheets are lovely. The hosts are lovely. There is aRead more funny factor which I wouldnt spoilt it for readers - all I can say is look out for the Kamikaze Crows (lol!). Hide

Fantastic location, lovely hosts. The Barn had everything we needed and the walks from the doorstep perfect for our dog. The enclosed garden was also a great bonus as dogs can enjoy the garden safely without owners worrying. Would highly recommend.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
