Boasting enviable views over Eastbourne from its fantastic elevated location, this apartment is perfectly placed for a coastal retreat. Fill your lungs with salty sea air as you relax on the large patio, drinking in the view over your morning coffee, before exploring the incredible coastline on the doorstep.

 

Head down a set of steep steps and into the bright and airy apartment, where floor-to-ceiling windows fill the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with natural light. Each room is spacious and comfortable, with a subtle nautical nod that ensures you’re never far from the beach here. Even on cold, wet days you can enjoy the striking seaside setting, with the dining table perfectly situated for you to look out over Eastbourne as you dig into a delicious homecooked meal. There’s stunning attention to detail in every corner, with simple and thoughtful touches to help make you feel instantly at home, including an additional pull-out bed to ensure no one misses out on a delightful beach break!

 

Eastbourne’s famous restored Victorian pier is just 1 mile from the apartment, where you will find cafes, entertainment, and even a nightclub. The town’s shingle beach is within walking distance, offering a fantastic place to relax, with an expanse of sand revealed at low tide (so remember to pack your bucket and spade!). Also within walking distance, is the South Downs National Park, which starts less than 1 mile away from the property - you won’t want to miss the breathtaking views from Beachy Head’s iconic vantage point across Eastbourne and the English Channel. From here, you can even venture further to Birling Gap (4.5 miles) and The Seven Sisters (6.5 miles).

Absolutely lovely stay in Eastbourne. We have been staying at The Lookout for a few years and the location is amazing. The host is very helpful and we are looking forward to next years stay already.
