Nice property on an attractive complex. The Machrie however is on the main road, with building works directly opposite. We paid almost 2000 for week ending 25/9/21 so not cheap. Property is comfortable and hot tub was lovely. There are irritating things that need rectifying. Only five dining chairs for eight people. Shortage of glasses. Poor bbq. DRead moreirty baking trays. Dirty dog toys. No welcome pack. Overpriced compared to others properties weve rented. Needs a little TLC Hide

The house was lovely and in a great location. We were able to walk to the main part of Westward Ho and the beach in 15 minutes. It was great to have the hot tub and our children enjoyed Sky Cinema in the evenings.

Myself , my adult children and two spaniels had a lovely week at The Machrie. Beautiful, spacious house, with views in the distance of the sea. The house was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous. Good walks, lovely beach and places to eat.

A lovely comfortable well equipped home from home. The beds were very comfortable so slept well. The layout works with bedrooms downstairs and living space upstairs. The bedrooms are a good size and plenty of wardrobe space. Heating was very good. TVs with sky in the double rooms. We will be retuning.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
