A comfortable house in a quiet area with good space for 7 plus 2 dogs. The path to the town/beach is pleasant but steep on the return so could be difficult if you have young children or things to carry. There is a useful amenity space with great views just two minutes walk away and access to the coastal path is good.

The house was lovely and well equipped and the owner was available for question or problems. Had a great book with lots of info. What a lovely house and garden. Everything we needed home from home and more. We didn't want to leave! Enough space for everyone- 7 plus a dog. Hood communication from the owner. Lovely peaceful location. We walked the 15 minute walk through the woods on a few occasions into Westward Ho! with no problems. Lots of good eateries around. Might need toRead more book ahead though. Wonderful place to stay. Comfortable, beautifully decorated and perfect for a family. Its in a quiet area of Westward Ho! The beach is walkable but down a very steep woodland path so if you struggle with hills and have younger children its best to drive. The driveway fitted all 3 cars so no worries where to park. We had a brilliant time at Tors view. The cottage was very clean and extremely well equipped. The cottage is located a 5 minute drive from Weatward Ho, though the walk down also only took about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this lovely property to anyone wanting to holiday in Nirth Devon

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
