A beautiful cottage in a great location for exploring north Cornwall. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable. We loved having barbecues on the sunny evenings we had. Tall people will need to have baths rather than showers as there is a beam which makes standing up impossible if youre over 5 ft 6!

We had a wonderful time in Cornwall. The location was great for us. Tye Ki was away from the crowds, but near enough to everything we wanted to see. Tintagel, Boscastle, and Port Isaac are only a few minutes drive away. Plenty of walks and quiet cycling lanes are on the doorstep. The cottage was great, with everything we needed. The shower is only Read morefor washing hair, so you are having a bath every day, which may not suit everyone. All in all it is a great place to stay. Hide

Beautiful cosy cottage just what we needed for a change of scenery and wow what scenery! Really enjoyed exploring the fabulous coast particularly Polzeath . The wood burner further adds to the relaxed feel of this little place and we loved the decor of Tye-ki and the owners artwork missing that cheeky seagull in particular.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
