Located on the beach at Pevensey Bay, this holiday home is the perfect choice for guests with children who wish to stay on the beach from dawn to dusk. Despite its peaceful coastal location, the house is within easy reach of the local amenities at Pevensey, which include popular pubs offering locally sourced produce. Located directly between Hastings and Eastbourne, a wider range of eating and shopping facilities is only a fifteen minute drive away.

A spacious entrance hall decorated in Edwardian tiles welcomes you into this house and guides you through to the front lounge. With white washed flooring, a rustic coffee table and woodburner, this is a stylish and cosy room for cooler evenings. Folding doors open into the second lounge area, which can be left open when entertaining to form a large space. Here you will find comfortable sofas, stylish lamps and a games cupboard. The kitchen beyond has been designed by keen cooks and presents a stunning bright white space in which to entertain. An island with bar stools sits below stylish pendant lights while a clever combination of exposed and closed storage adds to the charm. Here you will find a gas hob, double electric oven, microwave oven, and dishwasher. Enjoy your meals in the spacious dining area beyond, which boasts white washed tongue-and-groove walls, a polished concrete floor, large wooden table, cafe style lights and folding doors to the courtyard. There is a separate utility room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink, plus a washroom with reclaimed wooden walls and tiles. On the first floor, the first bedroom has a double bed and is located at the front of the house with a large bay window to make the most of the sea views and flood the room with light. Beautifully decorated with reclaimed wood throughout, this room features an Ercol style armchair and alcove shelves. Also on this floor is the second bedroom with a king-size bed, and third room with bunk beds that is stocked with children’s books. Along with a family bathroom and a shower room, with a large walk in shower cubicle, there is also a cosy nook area with a sofa and selection of books that you can read at the table and chairs on the balcony beyond. On the second floor up in the eaves, you will find a further bedroom with twin beds, and the fifth bedroom with double bed, both with stunning sea views.

This spectacular property has a private beach at the front of the house, decorated with native wildflowers and boasting direct access onto the shingle beach. Al fresco meals can be enjoyed in the suntrap located off the dining room where there is a decked area with table and chairs.

This is a lovely house, tastefully decorated with its age and being at the seaside. Very well equipped. Location is wonderful having a sea view and direct access to the beach.

This house is in a brilliant location and was perfect for a mixed generation family holiday. It is really well equipped and attractively decorated. The beach even gets sand at low tide.

Wavecrest in Pevensey Bay. Beautiful house, quiet and peaceful location. Well equipped. Was perfect for all ages. Beach on the doorstep and lovely garden. Easy parking in front of the house was great. 7 adults and 3 children under 9 , we didnt want to leave.

Wonderful house is a great position right in the middle of town but quiet and beautiful views of the sea. Location means you have access to beach, pub, shops buses and all sorts in minutes which is important for families. Lis could not have been more helpful and kind and that makes a huge difference too. This is a great property for a group of friends or family to stay in together. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and includes melamine crockery for use outside. This house is absolutely amazing. Spacious, elegant and beautifully decorated, this made a perfect place for a group of friends to get away for a long weekend. I would take my family and small children to this house too as its well kitted out for any combination of visitor. We loved the property! Its very well equipped and we found it very easy to cook, eat and relax together. We were a family group of 9 adults and 1 child celebrating a birthday and we had plenty of room, we all really enjoyed the house and location. Its obviously a much loved home and has been beautifully renovated. We enjoyed our visits to the beachRead more, walk along the cliffs from Burlington Gap, Bodium Castle and the town of Rye. Wave Crest is in a beautiful position with direct access to the beach which all our family enjoyed. The house is very comfortable and can easily accommodate a multi generational family. We liked the modern decoration of the house and individual unusual pieces , we recommend this house.

The location is perfect and the house very homey and comfortable. Lovely thick fluffy towels in the bathrooms. Sitting in bed drinking coffee and looking out the window at the beach was bliss. Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
