An exceptionally luxurious home with fantastic facilities for catering. A joy to prepare meals in the extremely well equipped kitchen. We loved the garden and being able to swim in the sea literally at the bottom of the garden. So many wonderful features in this beautiful house. A haven of relaxation.

This house was refurbished in 2013 and is in need of some maintenance.. e.g broken washing machine so I couldn't do laundry.. We had a lovely stay and it's a beautiful location. What you can't see from pictures is that there is a small track road in front of the house between the beach, so the house isn't suitable if you have young children. The kiRead moretchen and dining area are all at the back of the house so you don't get that complete 'on the beach' feeling.. front top terrace is very small. Hide

Great place to stay. So lovely to be able to walk straight onto the beach or just soak up the sun in the more sheltered garden. The kitchen is very well equipped (we loved the luxury of the motorised toaster) and with the large dining area feels really spacious. Living areas and bedrooms are comfortable with great views from the rooms at the front.Read more Would have liked to stay longer. Hide

Amazing house, fantastic location and great hosts. There are very few properties that we've visited where we've said it was perfect and this was one of them.

Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been a popular British holiday destination since Victorian times. The town’s attractive pier and promenade is still a major draw for visitors in search of a traditional seaside experience – you can enjoy a long, level stroll along the sea front whilst enjoying an ice cream or some fish and chips. The pebble beach is a good place to park a deckchair and take in the sun, or paddle in the sea. Great for family breaks and as a romantic getaway, the town has much to offer all visitors. The South Downs Way starts in town and extends 100 miles eastwards to Winchester – one of the first stops on the National Trail are the imposing chalk cliffs of the iconic Beachy Head, a few miles to the east of town. Eastbourne is a big hit with train enthusiasts as it’s home to the Spa Valley Railway and the Miniature Steam Railway. Historians may like Redoubt Fort and The Observatory Science Museum (in nearby Herstmonceux). For all-weather attractions for children why not investigate Fort Fun or the indoor Motcombe Swimming Pool? Further afield, and within a one-hour drive to the west is Brighton, with its own pier, wonderful array of shops and eateries. To the west is Bexhill-on-Sea with its impressive art gallery, the De La Warr Pavillion, and long seafront. Just beyond is the old fishing town of Hastings with its new award-winning designer pier, ancient castle and fishing shanty town.
